Wireless links are increasingly replacing traditional wired links. They are indeed more practical, allow better flexibility of use, and lower the cost of installation.
There is a wide choice of wireless protocols available: Zigbee for example, but also others like RF4CE, ANT, 6LoWPan, DASH7... It is easy to get confused, unless you are a specialist!
M.d.c. Technology has been working for years in the wireless industry. Thanks to its competence, supplemented by further knowledge of Low Power Design, we can effectively manage all aspects of the wireless project.
We successfully completed several wireless projects for a variety of industries such as:
individual security, addressed to the responsible safety for sporting events
marine remote controls, for the control of winchs on yachts and megayachts
the home automation system Zigmagic, which received a grant from Regione Toscana (POR-CREO)
a high-speed, wireless signal transceiver for agricultural machinery
Since April, 2001 we are Embedded Developer Partners of DIGI Inc., an U.S.A. company, true leader in wireless technology and well known for its widespread XBEE modules.
